RoomKeyPMS is a common cloud PMS at small and independent hotels. It's affordable and easy to operate, but it offers minimal CLC-specific tooling. Manual reconciliation is the default — which means errors accumulate until somebody invests the hours to dig through reports.
CLC quirks specific to RoomKeyPMS
No CLC-specific source code by default
RoomKeyPMS does not ship with a built-in CLC reservation source code. Properties improvise: some use a custom source, some leave CLC reservations untagged. That makes filtering CLC stays from the reservation report manual and error-prone.
Folio routing is basic
RoomKeyPMS's folio routing is functional but basic. Two-folio architecture for CLC stays must be enforced procedurally by the front desk — there is no system-side guardrail.
