CLC Billing Recovery for OnQ

Hilton's centralized PMS — strong on reporting, weak on CLC-specific validation.

Hilton's OnQ PMS is one of the most centralized hotel systems in the industry, with strong reporting and tight integration to Hilton corporate. For CLC billing, that's a double-edged sword: centralization helps with rate consistency but does nothing to solve the underlying CLC virtual card validation problem.

CLC quirks specific to OnQ

OnQ rate codes vs. CLC contracted rates

Hilton corporate manages negotiated rates centrally, which reduces (but does not eliminate) rate mismatches. When a CLC contract is amended mid-cycle, OnQ rate codes can lag the Corpay rate feed by days, producing a spike of short pays.

Folio routing through OnQ's billing windows

OnQ's window-based billing routing is robust but unforgiving. Mis-routed incidentals to the company window will trigger a CheckINN decline at settlement. Front desk staff need to be precise on every stay.

Decentralized property training is the real risk

Centralized OnQ does not equal centralized CLC training. Each Hilton property is responsible for training its own desk on CLC procedures, and turnover erodes that knowledge quickly.

How Reconcile CLC works with OnQ

  1. 1

We work from OnQ's daily reservation export plus Hilton's standard CLC source-code filter.

  2. 2

Each CLC stay is matched to the corresponding Corpay authorization on a 24-hour cadence.

  3. 3

Window-routing errors are flagged and resolved through Corpay's standard adjustment channels.

  4. 4

Monthly recovery reports are reconciled to Hilton property accounting.
